We took Lainy to the Doctor today for her 9-month checkup. She's so funny at the doctor's office. She gets all nervous when the nurses are around, but as soon as the Doctor comes in she's happy and smiley. I think she knows it's the nurses who administer the shots, not the Doctor. Well, today she didn't need any shots, for which I'm very thankful, she just had a checkup. She now weighs 16lbs 7 oz, and she's 29 inches long. Those measurements place her in the 50th percentile for height and just above the 25th for weight. The Doctor said she looks just perfect, and I agree! Alaina is so close to crawling we can hardly believe it. She gets up on her hands and knees and wiggles around until she falls down. She's going to crawl any day now. We're so excited for her!Alaina's most recent trick is that she dances to music. We noticed it the most at church yesterday. Whenever the organ would start she'd bob her head and "dance". It's really cute. We tried to get a video of her dancing, but she only did it for a minute. Here it is nevertheless:Those are our updates this week. Hope you all have a great week!

How cute. She is getting so big! Its crazy. It's too much fun to see her growing up. We are really going to miss you all when you leave. I'm glad that you have this blog to keep us updated.

That is so cute! Caleb just started "dancing" too, and I think it is just the cutest thing ever. I'm glad to hear the check up went well, we have ours this week and I am SO glad there aren't shots at this one!
