We have our days: good and not so good.
Take yesterday for example. I don't know what happened to the day. Before I knew it, it was 5pm and Lainy was still in her pajamas with bed-head hair. I didn't look much better.
Between feeding and changing Leah, helping Lainy properly use the potty, and a half hour of yoga last night (thanks for the invite Jamie), I'm not sure what I did. 9 pm rolled around and as I collapsed on the couch and looked around my messy house, all I could really show for my day were the remnants of a homemade dinner still on the table, a two-year-old comfortably tucked into bed, and a baby looking just a little bit more chubby than the day before.
We do have better days, however. Ones where we're all dressed by 10 am. I think we had one day when the kitchen stayed clean (for the most part) all day. Last week we even made it outside a few times to enjoy our beautiful Spring weather.
It's hard work. Of course it is. But I love it.

Yes, yes, yes...everything "counts for something"! You are doing amazingly well Traci!!! You are totally fantastic in every way!
Leah looks so old. When was the last time I saw her? It's been too long becuase I hardly recognize her. It's kind of silly considering that I live right across the parking lot. I was thinking one of these days you and your girls need to come over and hang out during the day. It's a great excuse for neither of us to worry about house work for a few hours, and Jackson needs someone to entertain him. I think he's getting bored with me.
It IS hard work! I still feel like I'm trying to get used to 2 (over a year later! :) ). Sometimes I wonder what I have done all day, too, but I know I have been busy feeding, entertaining, and cleaning after my 2 sweet boys. If you ever get frustrated, know that you can call me!
PS, I love the spring trees. I can't wait for it to get a bit warmer around here!
The adjustment to two can be rough, can't it? I always wonder why some days we have it all together and some days we just don't! It's good to know we're not alone though. Your girls are beautiful!
I give you props. When I have two kids it's going to be utter chaos for probably several months and a mom that wants to scream and pull her hair out at times. Leah has already grown so much!! It look a lot greener in Seattle than here at the moment. Starting to feel like spring this weekend though.
Cute pictures! You are a great mother and your girls are so precious. Your testimony was so sweet today--you are a very eloquent speaker.
Hey we all have our days. You are doing great!! The girls are so cute! I am so jealous that Lainy will go on the potty. Daegan will not even sit on the potty and if you ask him if he wants to wear big boy underwear he just says "diaper" Oh one day I guess! Anyways your doing great! We need to play that game on of these days when you guys feel up for it! Take Care!!
