Brad, Traci, and kids: Lainy's Pics

We gave Lainy a kids digital camera for Christmas.

She loves it.

Last night, we downloaded some of her pictures. I was surprised (okay, I was shocked) at how good they are!

Some are very artistic...

Some feature her toys...

Brad and I make an appearance in some of them...

But this little baby is by far Lainy's favorite subject...

Aren't they great?! It's fun to see the world through Lainy's eyes.

Lainy-isms

8/5/2011 - Tonight Brad was telling me about some fellow students at the hospital who were asking him where to go to get a few "drinks" after work. Lainy piped up and said, "Daddy, tell them to just go to a drinking fountain. That's a good place for a drink."

7/22/2011 - "I need a pinny-bob" (bobby-pin)

7/2/2011 - "Daddy, I want you to just be my family doctor."

5/19/2011 - "Leah, can you say Tinker Bell? Can you say Minnie Mouse? Can you say Jesus?"

3/20/2011 - "I decided I'm not going to be a Mommy anymore...(thoughtful pause)...I'm going to be a Daddy!!"

3/14/2011 - "Mommy, I need some tunes!"

3/10/2011 - "Just keep on keepin' on!" (said to Brad while they cleaned her room)

1/22/2011 - Brad: "You're gorgeous." Lainy: "Daddy, why are you speaking Spanish?"

10/10/2010 - Brad:"What do you want to learn in preschool?" Lainy: "I'm going to learn about surgery. That's my first test."

10/6/2010 - "Mommy, where is my punk-man?" (pumpkin)

9/23/2010 - "Mommy that was fideeculous (ridiculous)"

9/10/2010 - "I'm sick because I have too many bless-you's!" (aka sneezes)

7/24/2010 - "Daddy, you're done with your test! I'm so proud of you! You did it! You won!"

7/17/2010 - "Daddy, you just study about the brain, and I'll study about other objects."

7/17/2010 - "Let's go on a family date!"

7/17/2010 - Lainy:"Daddy do you think I'm funny?" Brad: "I think you're hilarious." Lainy: "Yeah, I'm hilarious and funny!"

7/13/2010 - Me: "Should we take you to the dentist soon?"
Lainy: "Well, I don't want them to pull out my teeth like the Abominable Snowman."

7/10/2010 - "Look Mom, I'm ballarin-ing! Don't you love my dancing?!"

7/9/2010 - "Just chill it out, Leah." (Said to Leah when she was fussy.)
