Babies Grow Up Too Fast

This is a sentimental post. I’m waxing sentimental because Alaina is going to be six months old soon and I can’t believe it. It’s weird because on one hand it’s only been six months, but on the other hand it’s hard to remember life without her. What happened?! I’ve learned that being the mother of a baby is kind of bittersweet: Sweet because you get to witness every stage and every milestone, and bitter because it’s so short. It's a good thing the sweet totally and completely outweighs the bitter. So I’ll just thoroughly enjoy every little stage while it lasts and be excited for all we have to look forward to (especially sleeping through the night). Here are a couple of pictures.

I'm so with you on this. It's so exciting to see the growth, but so sad to leave behind each fun stage. Alaina is so beautiful!

It's amazing how much they change is such a small amount of time! With James' 2nd birthday coming up, I'm sure I will have a "waxing sentimental" post as well. :)

Traci!
I have to admit that we took a peek at you rblog and I sat Creed down to look at the pictures of your sweet little baby last night! (We both agree that she might be the cutest baby ever..and this is honest) I am so happy you have a blog! We have added you to our site so that we can keep checking in. What Med. school are you going to... is it anywhere out east? We miss you!
